Our National Network
C2C is the model for 42 other teachers' free stores nationally.
Crayons to Computers is a member of the Kids in Need Foundation Network,
established in 1995 to provide teachers from low-income schools free supplies
for their classrooms and students.
Manufacturers and distributors regularly donate surplus merchandise to the
Kids in Need centers. Since 1995, the Foundation has distributed more than
$300 million worth of school supplies.
There are 23 teacher's resource centers that are affiliated with the Kids in
Need Foundation and another 20 independent teacher free
stores. Kids in Need conducts an annual summit conference for all
affiliate and independent resource centers to exchange ideas, discuss
strategies, and share best practices.
